Virtual Networking

Hi,

I'm new here, I'll be picking your brains about networking/PC issues in the future lol

I've noticed virtualisation technologies like vmware have virtual switches and basically their own virtual networks insid ethe computer to connect various VMs to each other.

How common do you think this will be in the future?
